Earlier this week we have written about the Saturn.Network and their ICO and what they are trying to achieve. Just literally after we have posted our article on Saturn, they released their Saturn Wallet.
The Saturn wallet is an extension which allows you to seamlessly access dApps across the Ethereum and Ethereum Classic blockchain and is available on Chrome and Firefox browsers . It provides you with a fully functioning wallet on both blockchains which you can manage from inside the extension. This is an important milestone for the Saturn team but also for Ethereum Classic itself. This Saturn wallet will result in more projects developed on the ETC blockchain as at the moment there is only few on the ETC blockchain. One major problem that ETC had is that MetaMask was never supported by ETC including dApps. This now brings the question that ETC has had 3 teams work on ETC, and none of them could have made this possible? It has taken the Saturn team to solve the ETC problem!
The beauty of this Saturn wallet is that developers can migrate any existing ETH dApp that supported MetaMask over onto the ETC network. I sincerely do hope that ETC sees some growth out of this as it would be an easy move for developers from the ETH network onto the ETC.
The Saturn wallet is based off the MetaMask which means that you can import your existing MetaMask wallet onto the Saturn wallet and use it just like you would your MetaMask. This new Saturn wallet will also enable you to use their new Radex Classic (exchange) and purchase the Saturn Classic DAO token at ease.
All in all a very good product release from the Saturn team, which will enable Ethereum Classic to grow. One would question though why has it taken the Saturn team to release such an important release for the Ethereum Classic network and what have the 3 Ethereum Classic development teams been doing?
